NN Inc. has both large mechanical and servo presses available. The servo controls allow for greater precision in the stamping process. The larger bed size facilitates the use of more complex progressive tools for material thicknesses up to 6.35 mm.
These presses are ideal for components such as bus bars, high-voltage connector terminals, and brackets made from copper, aluminum, and steel. They are also used for very complex components such as EMI connector shields and intricate terminals
Tighter tolerance can be achieved depending on datums and designs. Screw machines produced parts complete or a blank for a multiple step process flow.
NN Inc.’s mid-range presses are used for a wide variety of components. These presses are ideal for higher volume, medium complexity components, with speeds up to 1,800 strokes per minute and a bed size capable of handling modestly complex progressive tools.
We use these presses for electrical components like connector terminals made from copper and aluminum. Safety components, automotive, appliance, and other industrial components are also produced with these presses.
NN Inc.’s small presses range from 20 to 100 tons. These presses are ideal for producing small, intricate components and higher volume components, with speeds up to 1,800 strokes per minute.
These presses are perfect for electrical components like terminals and lead frames, safety devices like burst disks, appliance brackets, and other general industrial stamped components. Safety components, automotive, appliance, and other industrial components are also produced with these presses.
NN Inc. has presses capable of running components reel-to-reel. To facilitate the assembly processes for some of our customers, we can provide components on a reel with the strip web or on a tape reel.
NN Inc. also has stamping presses equipped with internal welding processes. This is ideal for electrical switch stampings that require welded contacts.
