Laser Drilling


How do you put a precision hole though a metal surface with a thin cross-section with out distorting or creating burrs in the workpiece.  The answer is Laser Drilling.  

Laser drilling is a non-contact metal removal process that can create high precision holes with minimal distortion and heat effected zones. 

NN Inc engineering working with our customer to define the component features to yielded needed performance results for the product.  NN Inc than work to implement a technology to achieve the criteria at the required production rate.    

Abrasive Flow Machining


How do you create a precision hole profile that is burr free profile in blind and cross drilled holes in a work piece  .  The answer is abrasive flow machining.

The need was to achieve a tight range and repeatable flow characteristic through the end device.  Standard processing of drilling, reaming, grinding and deburring process wouldn’t achieve the needed repeatability and precision.  

Working with the customer to define the orifice profile that yielded the required results.  NN Inc engineers then implemented and refined the abrasive flow process parameters to achieve these results with capability.
