At NN, your career journey offers diverse paths with growth opportunities, competitive pay, and global exposure. Empowerment is fundamental to our culture—from the production floor to executive roles. Accountability lies at every logical level, empowering employees to halt production if they spot deviations from standards. This mindset fosters a sense of ownership, ensuring we prioritize customer satisfaction, community welfare, and environmental responsibility. Whether you’re starting your career or seeking advancement, NN’s success hinges on our talented, empowered team. If you’re driven to succeed, serve customers, and support communities, NN is the ideal place for you. NN, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
Developing new skills is a winning proposition for everyone. When employees are proficient in multiple roles, the company is better able to address customer needs and scheduling demands.
One example is NN’s Learn and Earn Program, which was developed in our Michigan sites and that other locations have begun piloting. NN partners with local schools to provide apprenticeships and cooperative education paths for students interested in machining, manufacturing, and maintenance roles. It operates in various forms based on the partner school and the site, but structurally each gives participants an opportunity to earn technical course credits or a degree while they work. This “learning in context” provides a variety of options to help employees develop technical skills through a combination of academic and on-the-job experiences. Some sites also offer Pay for Skills, which identifies a range of key manufacturing competencies that employees can voluntarily pursue. In exchange, those who demonstrate proficiency earn a higher hourly rate—whether or not they are working in that particular discipline.

Further, to ensure that our employees have the information they need to do their jobs effectively, we also conduct regular plant communication meetings, and host periodic town hall calls to discuss recent results and upcoming activities.
